 | Located in the center of Farmington, Connecticut, Porter’s is a college preparatory boarding and day school for girls in grades 9 through 12. Founded in 1843 by life-long scholar and educator, Sarah Porter, our school’s dynamic, rigorous, well-rounded approach to education prepares girls to expand their minds and grow into socially engaged, confident young women.
Our Summer Programs are designed to provide girls the opportunity to experience Porter's academic, artistic, athletic and residential curriculum and community. Led by members of Porter's faculty, the Sarah Porter Leadership Institute challenges girls to become engaged learners who communicate clearly and effectively. Girls thrive in our supportive and collaborative environment where curiosity and confidence are encouraged, and they complete their programs with a greater understanding of all they can accomplish as informed, bold, resourceful, ethical citizens. For more information, please contact the Summer Programs Office.
