Porter's Students to Perform at All-State Concert Festival

Two Miss Porter's School students have been selected for the All-State Concert Festival, to be held April 10 at the Connecticut Convention Center. The students were chosen based on auditions held in January. Grace Kim '11 will play in the first clarinet section of the band, and Shreya Sachdev '12, a violinist, will play in the orchestra.

Porter’s music program includes two choral and two instrumental ensembles, as well as individual music lessons. The program is led by Music Director John Eells, founder and director of the Farmington Valley Symphony Orchestra.
