Thirds Volleyball suffers a home loss against Choate

Porter's hosted Choate Rosemary Hall for a Thirds Volleyball match on Saturday afternoon. The Daisies started very strong, picking up the first set 25-11. After that, though, Choate took control of the match, winning the next three sets 25-14, 25-14 and 25-12 to take the match. The Porter's crew continues to improve their teamwork and communication, and played with growing intensity over the course of the match. Choate had greater power and physicality and the Daisies struggled to handle their strong serves. Notable players for Porter's were Ava Forand and Darian Gordon, who played solid defense at the net, and Mariela Vasquez who played with aggression throughout the match. Next match: Rumsey Hall comes to Farmington looking for revenge on Wednesday afternoon.
