The Porter's field hockey team never quit in their match against Choate, scoring their one goal with just 1:30 left in regulation. After a strong start for Porter's, with two shots on goal in the first few minutes, Choate took the lead off their first corner, scoring on a tremendous shot from the top of the circle. Choate took advantage of another corner opportunity a few minutes later, and then with 14 minutes left in the first half, they managed to score a third off a breakaway. Despite the deficit, the Porter's team kept playing hard and they earned several chances to score in the second half, with Clare Porter ('19) finally knocking in a shot off an assist from Mel Belenardo ('20). Goalies Elizabeth Muller ('19) and Kami Vigilant ('20) split the halves of the game, with Muller saving 13 shots and Vigilant saving 8.
