Last game of the season

Our last game of the season turned out to be a beautiful day after many rainy cold days.
At this point in the season, the team did show signs of being tired or not focused 100% with everything students have happening these last weeks of the school year. Our mark defense requires high levels of concentration and also very fast reaction time so we do not find ourselves trailing the disc. The beginning there were some plays where our players could not find their mark fast enough and the opponent scored three fast points. After switching to zone defense things changed and we were able to not allow the other team to score fast points. By forcing Ethel Walker to start their offense close to their end zone we were able to score some points. A couple of mistakes near our end zone, and also a few times we missed (again) the last pass to score allowed the other team to score and at the end the gap was too big for a comeback. Kudos to the whole team for their spirit, for taking care of each other and for always being nice and respectful to the rivals.
