DESCRIPTION:Last year\, students at Miss Porter’s School participated in the Challenge Success–Stanford Survey of School Experiences\, which offered a window into their experience of school. In this virtual session\, we’ll review the key findings from the survey and consider the implications for our community. \nWe’ll also explore the impact of broader trends in education on our students’ lives – from pressures around homework to grades and college admissions – and consider the deliberate steps Porter’s is taking to ensure that our students are not only prepared but healthy and equipped to navigate the challenges facing adolescents today. \nYou’ll leave with practical\, research-based tips for how you can support balance at home and partner with the school in creating a healthy\, meaningful educational journey for your child.
