Parent and Family Giving

Annual Fund donations made by families reflect their belief in and support of the mission of Miss Porter’s School to educate young women to become informed, bold, resourceful and ethical global citizens who will shape a changing world. The support provided by families of both current and past students is essential to the continued success of the school and underwrites a notable portion of the operating budget.

Miss Porter’s School will credit the gift at the mean value on the day of irrevocable transfer to our account. Miss Porter’s School is a 501(c)(3) organization. Our Federal Tax ID is 06-0646786.

Recurring Gift

The recurring gift program is an easy, secure, and convenient way to support Miss Porter’s School. You simply select an amount to be billed to your credit card each month, every-other-month, or quarterly. Recurring gifts reduce administration costs, allowing more of each gift to be used immediately to support the top priorities at Miss Porter’s School. And because your annual gift will be broken into smaller monthly amounts, a recurring gift may allow you to increase your yearly contributions to the next level.

It is convenient to set up a recurring gift online by checking the recurring gift box to the right of the gift amount.

To set up your recurring gift by phone or if you have questions, please contact the Database and Gift Services Manager at (860) 409-3625.

Thank you for your generous support!

Matching Gift

Many companies around the nation set up programs to match gifts given by employees to non-profit organizations like us. This allows the company to make charitable contributions while giving you the satisfaction of maximizing your generous gift.

Most of the companies that participate in matching gift programs often match gifts on a one to one basis, essentially doubling the amount of your gift. Some companies even match on a two to one basis, therefore tripling your gift! Retired from your company? Numerous companies also match gifts from retirees.
Companies have different means of submitting matching gift information. The most common way is to simply ask your Human Resources department for a matching gift form. Once you complete the employee portion of the form, send it to us and we’ll do the rest!
You can check if your company matches gifts by searching its name in this matching gift database. If you have any questions regarding the matching gift process, please contact the Database and Gift Services Manager at 860-409-3625. We will help you determine if your company matches gifts as well as help you with any questions about the process.
