BY WOMEN, FOR TOMORROW’S WOMEN
Miss Porter's School is partnering with Sotheby’s Auction House to present: BY WOMEN, FOR TOMORROW’S WOMEN — The First-Ever All-Women Artist Benefit Auction at a Major Auction House. The sale will gather modern and contemporary works by more than 25 female artists. Proceeds will support financial aid for Miss Porter's School students.
Agnes Gund '56 and Oprah Winfrey, longtime supporters of Miss Porter’s School, will serve as Honorary Co-Chairs. The project was announced by "The New York Times" and you can read the full press release here.
We are excited to share that on February 26, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. Miss Porter's School and Sotheby's will host an art preview cocktail reception at Sotheby's New York. Please note that space is limited for this free event, and as such, we are holding a lottery for participation in this event.
We know that, as Ancients and parents, you share our excitement, and we hope you will consider entering the lottery for your chance to join us the evening of February 26th. To do so, kindly register above no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, at which time the drawing will be held. Those selected will receive an email invitation directly from Sotheby's and you will need to register for the event using the link included in the Sotheby's email.
