It was anyone's game at Deerfield this past Saturday. Given the fact that it was the first match ever for many of them, this result should be a win, in itself. Our wins included Taylor Hall ('22), 3-0, Sasha Provost ('21), 3-2, and Elle Lansing ('22), 3-1. Miki Yang ('21) had an incredibly close match, but finally ending in defeat (3-2), with a final game of 9-11. Yubin Park ('21), Nia Carroll ('22), and March Deckers ('22), but did well (0-3), (1-3), and (0-3). Better luck next time! In exhibition, Sabrina Ianucci ('22) had a strong but tight match, winning in the end (3-2), Dori Dong ('22) and Jennifer Pyo ('22) both lost (0-3), Ruby Eisler ('21) lost in a tight match (2-3), and Julia Luppino ('21) lost (1-3). This was great work for our very first match, and I am hopeful for a fun and competitive season!
