MORE ABOUT ALL-SCHOOL REUNION 2022

Ancients from non-reunion years are invited to stay wherever they choose. We suggest that Ancients celebrating reunion years ending in 2 or 7 stay in the hotels indicated on the All-School Reunion Accommodations page. All Ancients attending All-School Reunion are welcome to utilize the room blocks listed.

Miss Porter’s School continues to monitor and follow federal, state, and county guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Our COVID-19 protocols must be followed for the duration of your visit on campus.

Protocols below are subject to change but we will notify registrants of any additional arrangements or requirements, as necessary, based on public health conditions. We appreciate your help with keeping the entire Porter’s community safe and healthy.

Vaccination: All age-eligible guests to the Miss Porter’s School campus must be fully vaccinated and boosted. Masking: Based on local COVID-19 rates, Porter’s is a “mask optional” campus at this time. Anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms must wear a high-filtration, well-fitting mask that covers the nose, mouth, and chin. Testing: Anyone experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms should test for COVID-19 prior to coming to campus. If your test is negative and you feel well enough, please remain masked while on campus to limit disease transmission.

Traditionally, classes have planned their own off-campus class dinners during reunion weekend. This year we are switching things up and hosting on campus class dinners for our Ancients where we will offer food and beverage trucks as part of your registration cost, and provide distinct locations on campus for your classes to gather. We have made this change for several reasons:

COVID-19: Despite what we all may hope, COVID-19 will most likely still be prevalent this fall. We are hosting on-campus class gatherings to a) keep activities centralized and accessible b) maintain control of COVID-19 protocols c) take the pressure off trying to find a location that would be able to accommodate your class should various COVID restrictions be in place. Ease: While some reunion volunteers may enjoy planning their class dinners, it is a large burden for others. We want this to be a fun activity for all, so we are taking the burden of planning off of your hands so you can focus on reconnecting with your friends. Equity: We know that the cost of class dinners can sometimes be a barrier to attendance, or even planning, so we wanted to create an option that allowed for all Ancients to attend and be among their class as part of the overall reunion weekend experience, rather than an additional expense.
