Bio
Katie joined Porter’s in March of 2019, after spending 8 years with an
early literacy nonprofit organization in Boston, MA. She received a
B.S. in Journalism from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from Boston
College Law School. Katie has worked in various roles in government
affairs and development throughout her career, and is excited to bring
these skills to the Office of Admission. Katie lives in Farmington
with her husband, Mike, daughter Maddie, son Graham, and 14-year-old
rescue pup, Bauer.

Bio
Gretchen entered the workforce again in the Admission Office at Porter’s in 2007 and is now the database coordinator responsible for updating and maintaining all inquiry, application and reporting information. Gretchen and her husband live in Farmington and are the proud parents of Porter’s graduates Erica ’12 and Renee ’14.

Bio
(She/Her) Maya graduated from Miss Porter’s School and attended Spelman College where she earned her degree in the Department of Comparative Women’s Studies with a minor in education. While at both institutions, Maya was heavily involved in leadership, serving as the second head of school her senior year, and president of Future Business Leaders of Spelman for two years. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and continues to volunteer and help the community through that esteemed organization. After graduating, she began her career recruiting at HubSpot, a tech company based in Cambridge, Mass. Maya returned to Porter’s in the summer of 2022, and now lives on campus with her sweet dog Houston. She is serving as an Associate Director of Admission and the Communications Liaison for the Admission office.

Bio
Kat came to Porter’s in 2015 after an early career of supporting international education both in the U.S. and in Spain, where she lived for five years prior to joining our community. Kat graduated from Holy Cross in 2011 with a double major in Spanish and International Studies and received her M.B.A from the University of Hartford in 2020. Kat is very passionate about advocating for and encouraging agency among international students as they enrich the Porter's community and supporting international families during their time at Porter's. Kat lives on campus with her husband, Pablo, daughter, Alba, and dog, Teddy, and she additionally serves as an Faculty Advisor, Assistant Dean of Equity & Inclusion, and International Student Advisor.
