We are offering limited, in-person, outdoor tours of campus! Tours will be held on weekdays through February 13.

In order to tour, you will need to complete a COVID-19 exposure form. We encourage all visitors to stay abreast of Connecticut’s travel advisories and the CDC’s travel recommendations and restrictions.
While we cannot welcome you into our buildings due to COVID-19 protocol, we can’t wait to show you our beautiful campus and help you picture yourself at Porter’s!
Porter’s is located in the town of Farmington, Connecticut, nine miles west of Hartford. We are 109 miles from New York City and 111 miles from Boston.
By air:
Bradley International Airport, in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, is a 30-minute drive from the campus. Rental cars, taxis or limousines are available to complete the trip. If driving from the airport, families should take Route 20 East, to I-91 South, to I-84 West. Take Exit 39 (Farmington). To continue, see directions from Exit 39.
By bus:
Bonanza and Peter Pan buses travel between Boston and New York City with a stop in Farmington on a regular basis. Taxi service is available to the school. Greyhound and Trailways buses serve Hartford from Boston and New York City on a regular basis. Taxi service and rental cars are available nearby.
Directions from Exit 39:
At the end of the exit ramp, continue straight through the light onto Route 4 West. Continue through the blinking light, then turn left at the next traffic light onto Main Street (Route 10 South). Continue straight through the light (you will see a sign in the front of the school ).
The Admission Building:
Take the next right onto Mill Lane. At the stop sign, continue straight to arrive at 44 Mill Lane. Parking is available at the building.
The Hacker Theater/Nona Evans Room:
Take the next right onto Mill Lane. At the stop sign, turn right onto Garden Street. Turn right into the parking lot next to the tennis courts and Hacker Theater.
The Pool Building/Riverview Lounge:
Take the next right onto Mill Lane. At the stop sign, turn right onto Garden Street. and an immediate left into our pool building parking lot. Please use the front entrance.
