Badminton
This athlete approaches every match with the intensity and focus of a third set, making her a fierce competitor, a reliable doubles partner, and an essential member of our team. Regardless of the score, she gives 100% and fights for every point until the very end. Recently climbing our team ladder, she has become one of our toughest players to beat, thanks to her competitiveness, agility, and outstanding court coverage. She constantly pushes herself beyond limits and never lets tiredness affect her game. In our most recent match, she left everything on the court, showing grit, and determination that inspired us all. She has truly redefined what it means to never give up. The Badminton team is proud to nominate Masha G!
Crew
This athlete came on to the program eager to learn and showcase her strength. Time after time this rower has stepped up to meet each challenge we threw at her with skill and resilience. This rower’s boat came in first with a commanding 22 second victory in their first ever race. Not only did this rower have only 2 days of training in our small boats, she was also tasked with rowing starboard for the first time ever the day before the race. Without a doubt this rower will be an amazing asset to our team in her years to come. Congratulations to this week’s Athlete of the Week, Avery Keefe!
Track & Field
The track & field team nominates an athlete of the week who puts her team first. She is always the person who helps gather and put away equipment when others walk away. She assists in practices showing her teammates drills we have done in the past and making sure their marks are correct. Not only has she been a great role model for her teammates but also had huge success this past week jumping to two personal bests. On Saturday, she crushed her long jump personal best by jumping one and half feet further than ever and snuck in a triple jump personal best as well to end her season on a great note as she heads off to Germany this week. Congrats to Genesis Lewis on a well deserved Athlete of the Week nomination!

Lacrosse
This athlete is the epitome of a leader and supportive teammate. At times, this athlete carries the team on her back (or face down on the turf!) during a game and her bright red face and bruised arms are evidence of that! This player leads the team in points and she is a fierce competitor — she is as tough as they come and definitely Boston ready! The Athlete of the Week for JV Lacrosse is Helen Shearon!
Tennis
We are extremely happy to have this player on the Tennis Team. She is enthusiastic about the game, plays hard each and every match and always strives to do her very best. In practice she gives 100%. Everyone on the team gets along with her and she has great communication. Thanks for joining this team, you are a role model for everyone. The team is lucky to have Mary Zheng!
