Commencement and Graduation 2026

Let’s celebrate the 90 incredible young women in the Class of 2026!

Miss Porter’s School is honored to celebrate their achievements, spirit and journey to becoming Ancients through these special events.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Honor every graduate under the big tent on Brooks Field!

This joyous graduation ceremony will take place rain or shine beneath the spacious canopy of a beautiful tent on Brooks Field. Seating is open to everyone on a first-come, first serve basis. Graduation tickets are not required, nor is seating reserved. General seating opens at 8:00 a.m.

Accessible seating is reserved on the left side of the tent, conveniently located near Ford Library for easy viewing on the monitors. The graduation ceremony will be live-streamed in the library’s Periodicals Room.

At Porter’s, we remain a mask-optional community as we continue to prioritize health and wellness. We encourage anyone who is not feeling their best to kindly wear a mask as a thoughtful gesture to our community.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Live streams will be available for the Awards Ceremony, the music and dance performances, and the Commencement and Graduation Ceremony. Each livestream feed will be recorded. Click on the “watch again” link to view the recording once the events have ended.

Accessibility Measures: We are delighted to offer closed captioning during the live stream of our graduation ceremony. This important service ensures that all community members can fully participate in and celebrate this incredibly special milestone together.

Service animals that meet the Americans with Disabilities Act designation as a “dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities” are warmly welcome to the graduation festivities. For the comfort and safety of all our guests and to maintain the integrity of the event, we kindly request that all other beloved animals stay at home.

CLASS OF 2026 LEGACIES

Within our past lies our future!

Since 1843, girls and women have been prepared to shape a changing world! We recognize the powerful legacy of Miss Porter’s School as we celebrate her Class of 2026 graduates.

A cherished tradition to represent the enduring mission of our school, the Daisy Wreath is hung by the senior with the strongest and most direct line of Ancient relatives. It is a beautiful opportunity to honor our Ancients, recognize our graduates and celebrate those who will soon call Farmington their home.

Legacy list will be posted soon!
