Pelletier, Jennifer

Teacher - Humanities

Jenn has taught the ninth grade Introduction to Inquiry seminar, U.S. and Global History, and AIS Global Issues and Travel Intensive, France. Other roles at Miss Porter’s have included Teaching and Learning Center support and assistant coaching of field hockey and lacrosse. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College and a Master of Education from Columbia Teachers College and has taught at the high school and middle school levels in public and private, coed, and all-girls schools. What stands out to Jenn about Porter’s is the creative energy and engagement of the students, not just in the classroom but in all the activities and traditions around campus. Jenn’s grandmother attended Miss Porter’s in the 1910s, so Jenn is always on the lookout for a familiar face in old photos!
