The world needs female leaders. The Porter’s Center for Global Leadership is specifically designed to produce and support them. Our programs give girls and women the tools they need to be empowered, learn, collaborate, lead, and create innovative solutions to pressing global issues.

Porter’s LEADS is a series of programs for middle school girls in grades 5 through 8. The LEADS workshops offer unique ways to engage and introduce participants to the competencies and skills necessary to begin their journeys as leaders–locally, globally, and for a lifetime.
Daisy Days is our summer camp for girls ages 5-10. Filled with joy and discovery, our day camp helps girls find their confidence, develop curiosity and try new activities while learning and having a ton of fun!
Each day is packed with hands-on activities, designed to spark imagination and foster creativity, teamwork, and leadership. Every week there are special guest(s) and a weekly adventure field trip, creating an empowering space for girls to freely explore their interests, make new friends, and build confidence in a supportive community.
We offer two distinct experiences for girls ages 11-14 to discover, imagine and lead.
Summer in Farmington invites middle school girls (grades 6-9) to experience life and learning on our historical campus. In our inclusive and supportive environment, middle school girls receive individualized attention from world class faculty and experience our residential life on campus.
Summer Explorations is an exclusive, small-group day camp experience designed for curious, creative girls in grades 6-9 ready to dive into hands-on learning. Campers choose one of three immersive week-long sessions, each led by experts and educators who inspire curiosity, confidence, and collaboration.
Leaders in Training (LIT) is a summer day program for aspiring camp and community leaders. Girls ages 13-15 learn by doing, gaining leadership skills through workshops, one-on-one mentorships, and hands-on collaborative practicum experiences. Through daily reflection and goal-setting, LITs strengthen their ability to take initiative, follow through on commitments, and practice accountability while working with younger campers, peers, and mentors.
This virtual program provides an opportunity for high school girls globally to connect, learn, and collaborate as they address relevant pressing global issues.
The Global Seminar Series prepares students to become informed and empowered to take action by exploring one global issue through an interdisciplinary lens, interacting with experts in various professions, and participating in collaborative group projects.
