There are two suggested ways to update your information so that you can receive information from school and stay in touch with Ancients 1. Contact Jose Lugo, Database Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org 2. Join the MPS Graduway Community at https://missportersschoolancients.org/
There are two ways to find classmates; both require that you log on first. One way is to choose “Activities,” then click your class year followed by your classmate’s name (while you’re there, you can find information on your other classmates as well!). Or, you can choose “Directory,” and either enter a last name, or choose “Advanced Search” and select a grad year.
You can order one through our school store, The Ivy. Contact Store Manager Jennifer Wagor at 860-409-3655.
We are thrilled that you would like to do so! You can send your ring to Director of Planned Giving and Stewardship Susan Walker at: Miss Porter’s School, 60 Main Street, Farmington, CT 06032, or if you have questions, Susan can be reached at 860-409-3626 or email@example.com.
The Ivy – The Shop at Miss Porter’s School, is our online school store offering sweatshirts, tote bags, school supplies, workout attire, and more!
Log in and go to “Account” in the green menu bar and select “Profile.”
Visit the Alumnae Leadership page to see the many ways you can be involved: https://www.porters.org/alumnae-leadership/
The Porter’s website has both public and password-protected areas. To protect Ancients’ privacy, all alumnae must log on to access the directory, Mentoring Network, class pages, and their individual profiles. Through their profiles, Ancients can select how much of their information they want shared on the password-protected directory. The policy on appropriate use of the directory is posted on the directory page.
Your gift to the school really makes all the difference. No matter what size contribution you are able to make, your participation sends the message that you believe in the mission of Miss Porter’s School. The percentage of Ancients who contribute to the Annual Fund every year is a tangible measure that others such as foundations and prospective families look at closely when deciding whether to make a grant or send their daughters to the school. The higher the participation (which was just 40% in 2013-14), the stronger the message that those closest to the school value the experience they had, and want available to other girls.
The Annual Fund is not an extraneous luxury. Every year, the school anticipates that approximately 13% of the operating budget will be covered by the Annual Fund. This year, it is essential to raise $2.1 million through the Annual Fund. Quite simply, without it, the school can only operate at 89%. Each gift makes a difference in reaching that goal.

Porter’s recently launched a new program, Porter’s College Advising, designed to guide relatives of Ancients — even if they don’t attend Porter’s — through the college application process.
