Teacher - Science & Global Seminar Series

Lesley is an accomplished educator and school leader who thrives on catalyzing girls in science, business and entrepreneurship. Lesley holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Florida and received a master’s in science education from St. Joseph University. She climbed the corporate ladder before switching careers to teach biology at New Britain High School, and later became science department chair at Watkinson School. Lesley has been at Porter’s since 2015 and has been involved in many areas of the school in leadership and as teaching faculty in science, TIE and PCGL. Lesley loves how Porter’s students are empowered to learn and advocate for themselves. She is an ardent proponent of girls gaining financial literacy and thrives on learning alongside her students. Lesley is also an avid walker, golfer and pickleball player
