Halie Bell teaches courses in biology at Miss Porter’s. Halie graduated from the University of San Diego with a degree in biochemistry and recently completed her doctoral work at Yale University in molecular biophysics and biochemistry. She is excited to help students develop a sense of curiosity and a passion for science. Outside the classroom, she will be coaching JV volleyball and advising Science Olympiad and the science publication Hypatia. Halie lives on campus with her husband and cat and enjoys puzzles and board games.
