Ariana Kolins teaches all ceramics courses as well as sculpture, and co-teaches the Global Studies travel course, Making Change, Art and Social Justice. She is also an advisor for and works alongside students to make bowls for Bowl-A-Thon. She believes passionately that everyone is creative and that her role as an educator is to encourage students to reach their full creative potential.
Ariana has a B.A. in peace and conflict studies from Guilford College, a post-baccalaureate certificate from the Oregon College of Art and Craft, and an MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Art Practices. Her work has been shown both locally and nationally. In her spare time, you can find Ariana cooking, making art, or walking her dog, Sweet Dee.
