Maureen Gassert Lamb teaches Latin and is dedicated to creating inclusive, differentiated learning environments. She has also taught English, Ancient Greek, Drama, and Digital Citizenship.
Maureen was named Connecticut 2016–17 Language Teacher of the Year and received the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages Award for Excellence in World Language Instruction Using Technology (K-12) and the Society for Classical Studies Excellence in K–12 Latin Teaching in 2022.
She has previously served as language department chair, dean of academic technology, dean of faculty, and dean of innovative pedagogy at other academic institutions.
Maureen lives in Avon with her husband and two daughters.
