Join Margaret “Margie” Cox Abbott ’67 for a virtual tour of Cape Town’s gardens!
What makes the smallest floral kingdom so special? It is the sheer diversity and endemism of its flora. Margie has lived in Cape Town, South Africa for six years and will take us on a short virtual tour of the Cape, as well as look at the most common indigenous fynbos plants in this remarkable part of the world. She will also take us to “visit” the remarkable gardens of Stellenberg, Old Nectar, the Dylan Lewis Sculpture Garden, and a private garden in Constantia. If you have never been to the Cape, you will want to come – and if you have visited this amazing part of the world, it will remind you of how special it is.
