Dr. Windsor consistently challenges the Porter’s community to take a leading role in shaping a world that must be changed. The central text for our 9th grade “Introduction to Inquiry” course is Mónica Guzmán’s “I Never Thought of It That Way.” Smart, accessible, and thought-provoking, Guzmán provides a blueprint for anyone looking to build their skills in curiosity, connection, and community-building.
Come join Rebecca Plona, Director of the Teaching and Learning Center, for a virtual discussion on Guzmán’s book hosted by the Miss Porter’s Parent Leadership Committee. We will explore how Guzmán’s suggestions can help us build connections within our own communities and support our children in shaping a world that must be changed.
