Marla Dakin, LCSW is a licensed therapist, parent coach, and proud mom of two young adults. With over 25 years of experience supporting children, teens, and families, she brings a powerful blend of clinical expertise, lived experience, and relatable insight to her work.
Marla spent more than two decades working in diverse school settings, where she developed a deep understanding of the challenges students and families face both inside and outside the classroom. She is the Founder and Clinical Director of Farmington Valley Counseling Center, a thriving group practice with locations in Avon and Farmington, Connecticut, and she also serves as adjunct faculty at CT State Community College.
