Josh teaches photography, filmmaking and digital art, and serves as advisor to the Photography Club and the Filmmaking Club. He is also a dorm affiliate. Josh believes that studying art encourages students to engage meaningfully with their world and provides vital opportunities to learn through discovery. He loves the atmosphere of authenticity around the art studios at Porter’s. Outside his teaching, Josh maintains an active studio art practice and has exhibited his work throughout the country. He lives on campus with his wife, Hur-shiu, chair of the Mathematics Department, and their two daughters, Beata and Andromeda
