A member of the Science Department, Emma Glezen (she/her) teaches biology classes as well as health and wellness. She also coaches volleyball and basketball.
Emma holds a B.S. in biopsychology from Loyola University Maryland, with a minor in forensic science. While at Loyola, she played NCAA Division I basketball for the Greyhounds and served on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. She began her teaching career as a teaching assistant for a cell and molecular biology class while at Loyola.
Emma has a passion for furthering opportunities for gender minorities in STEM and helping people enjoy science.
Outside of academics and athletics, Emma enjoys staying active with her dog, Sonny, and spending time with friends.
