Nida Kazmi teaches AIS Race and Identity, History of the Middle East, Humanities 9, and AIS International Relations.
She is a dorm affiliate for the senior dorm, Colony, and has started Qur’an studies this year.
Nida graduated from UConn with a dual bachelor’s in political science and history. She also holds master’s degrees in education and global history from Humboldt/Freie Universities in Berlin, Germany.
As a product of public education, she is aware of the difficulties involved in being able to afford education that allows students to be competitive in our fast-paced global world, but she believes it is equally important for students to keep themselves grounded in our shared humanity and to be aware of their privilege as they set goals for themselves.
