Neschke, Robin

Teacher - Mathematics

Ms. Neschke graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Trinity College, where she was also a member of the varsity crew team. After college, Ms. Neschke came to Porter’s as a part of a teaching fellowship with the University of Pennsylvania, teaching math and living in the dorms while she earned her master’s degree. For her inquiry project, she studied the implementation of a project-based introduction of material that allows students to explore new topics and maximizing the impact of prior knowledge and classmate experience on the learning process. Ms Neschke believes it’s important to get to know students in various aspects of their lives. Whether it’s out on the field or on the water, in advisory or at the dining hall; their growth and development is not confined to the walls of a classroom. She loves that Porter’s allows us all the opportunity to truly know our community of learners and help to shape one another into the leaders and advocates of tomorrow.

Ms. Neschke lives on campus and teaches math and economics. She also coaches crew and basketball, and is an advisor.
