Year-end Gifts to Miss Porter’s

As we start the final countdown to 2021, we invite you to invest in the students of Miss Porter’s by making a gift to the Annual Fund. In 2020, the costs of creating a dynamic, safe and joyful in-person learning experience were extraordinary and frankly, we need your help to ensure that the rest of the academic year can be as successful as the fall has been.

Dr. Katie Ayers

Congratulations Dr. Katie Ayers

The Miss Porter’s School community is excited to introduce our newest Ph.D.! Dr. Ayers earned a Ph.D. in Sociology, with a focus in feminist U.S. history and women’s social movements, from Virginia Tech.

Miss Porter's School

Giving Tuesday

On this Giving Tuesday, we invite you to directly help Miss Porter’s School offset the significant impact Covid-19 has had on our budget. In this unique fall, MPS was able to successfully welcome girls to campus for in-person classes, athletics, performing arts and leadership development. Being in Farmington, and working together, made all the difference for the girls of MPS, and philanthropy allowed school leaders to confidently execute our fall plan.

Leela Rosaz Shariyf ’21 – Student Head of School

I want to start by thanking everyone who helped make this school year possible. The faculty members, the administrators, and the staff who worked so hard to allow many of us to return to campus and all of us to continue to receive a quality education. I’m grateful for their work and I’m hopeful that the student body can match it by following the safety rules and staying engaged in classes.
