Please join us in honoring these 85 remarkable young women in the class of 2024 and celebrating their achievements through the events described below.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The graduation ceremony will be held rain or shine under a large tent on Brooks Field. Miss Porter’s School does not require tickets nor has reserved seating for graduation. General seating opens at 8:00 a.m. and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Accessible seating is reserved on the left side of the tent close to Ford Library so monitor screens can be easily viewed. The graduation ceremony will be live-streamed in the Periodicals Room of the Ford Library.
Porter’s is a mask-optional community. However, any person feeling ill should wear a mask to help us maintain a healthy environment.

WEATHER
We strongly encourage all attending guests to be prepared for inclement weather. Guests should be prepared to dress for conditions ranging from drizzle to heat and humidity. Please note that guest seating for the ceremony is under the protection of a tent.
PARKING
Commencement guests should park in the Tennis Court Lot (number 5), Riverview – Pool & Squash Building (number 2), The Greene House (number 1), or Porter Road Loop (number 19). All parking is located off of Garden Street or Porter Road.
Accessible parking is reserved behind Jones, 54 Main Street (number 18), and at the Alumnae and Development Office, 66 Main Street (number 13), as well as in marked locations in all other campus parking areas.
IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION FOR BOARDING SENIORS
Parents and guardians of senior boarding students are asked to park on the “Senior Beach” lawn, just off Main Street via School Street, and adjacent to the senior dorms. This will ensure close proximity to packing vehicles after commencement concludes. The area will be marked, and a member from the Porter’s staff will be on hand to help direct parking.
CLASS OF 2024 LEGACIES
These legacies represent the enduring mission of our school to prepare young women for college, for leadership, and for life – a mission which has remained unchanged since 1843. Traditionally, the Daisy Wreath is hung by the senior with the strongest and most direct line of Ancient relatives.
