Founder’s Day 2023
On Tuesday, February 14, Miss Porter’s School will celebrate Founder’s Day. The school wide event will be kicked off by Head of School, Dr. Katherine G. Windsor who will introduce the guest speaker for the day, Sally Dodge ’64.

The Porter’s community is excited to welcome home ancient Ellie Large ’81 to campus on February 1st, to speak about her journey as a student-athlete. February 1st is also the celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD).

Two questions guide my thinking as I lead the academic program at Miss Porter’s School. I believe all well-resourced private schools must find ways to answer them with a “yes” if they truly wish to justify their existence and the privilege that they bestow upon students.
