Since we have been unable to celebrate two cycles of Reunion classes in person, we are excited to welcome ALL Ancients back to Farmington this fall, especially class years ending in 2 and 7! Be on the lookout for additional information.

Registration will open this summer!

Interested in becoming a Reunion Volunteer?

If your class year ends in 2 or 7 and you are interested in volunteering for Reunion, please contact Cicely Upham, director of alumnae and parent engagement, at cupham@missporters.org or 860-409-3635.

Each class ending in 2 and 7 will each have a Reunion Class Committee with one or two Ancients volunteering as Reunion Committee Chairs (or Co-Chairs) and a larger group of Ancients volunteering as committee members. The two volunteer position descriptions are outlined below.

Reunion Class Committee Chair 

  • Make your best gift to Miss Porter’s in honor of your Reunion celebration.
  • Create virtual opportunities for class engagement leading up to Reunion.
  • Recruit classmates to serve as committee members, event hosts, and panelists.
  • Make an account and promote the usage of Graduway.
  • Establish channels of communication for your class: Facebook, texting, Graduway, email, etc.
  • Plan and lead full committee meetings.
  • Amplify the school’s fundraising and gift planning messages to your class.
  • Sign your name to fundraising materials created by members of the Alumnae and Development Office.
  • Work to increase class participation for Reunion giving.
  • Thank members of your class when they make a gift to MPS in honor of their Reunion.

Reunion Class Committee Member

  • Make your best gift to Miss Porter’s in honor of your Reunion celebration.
  • Encourage attendance from your classmates.
  • Participate in Reunion programming – both virtual and in-person.
  • Meet with the Reunion committee to strategize about ways to engage your class.
  • Create opportunities for connection among your class during and outside of Reunion.
  • Encourage class notes for the Bulletin.
  • Make an account and promote the usage of Graduway.
