The Miss Porter’s Art Club hung a Porter’s Art Club show at Hands On Hartford, a social service nonprofit organization that serves Hartford’s neediest residents in the areas of food, housing, and health. The students’ art work will be up until the end of December. Their intent is to be bring the arts to those served by the service organization. Hands On Hartford’s three direct service programs provide food, housing, and related support to Hartford’s poorest residents. The Engagement Program connects volunteers to their direct service sites and engages local communities in large scale projects.
