On May 29, Miss Porter’s School held Virtual Commencement for the Class of 2020. Physically apart but together in spirit, the global Porter’s community celebrated the graduates through moving remarks and heartfelt sentiments.

This year’s all-school theme is Belonging — the fundamental human need to be seen, heard, and ultimately, affirmed.
2018 was a year of celebration for the Miss Porter’s School community, as we recognized the school’s 175th anniversary.
Miss Porter’s School students and alumnae have understood the importance of giving back since the school’s founding in 1843.
The GSS is free to students and meets on the following Saturdays: 10/17, 10/24, 10/31 and post election on 11/7. Speakers will include experts in journalism, foreign correspondence, race and gender studies, social change and innovators exploring a new electoral system. There will also be a Winter and Spring GSS, topics to be released soon!
