Meghan Anthony, a dynamic educator and community leader, found the perfect intersection of her career and passions in her new role as the Director of Daisy Days summer camp at Miss Porter’s School.
“Director of Daisy Days is really where my work at Miss Porter’s School and my education as an elementary school teacher come together,” she shares. This new chapter allows Meghan to combine her professional expertise with her personal joy for creating enriching experiences for young girls.

But this role is more than a professional milestone—it’s also personal. Meghan is particularly excited to share the Daisy Days magic with her own 8-year-old daughter, who will also be attending the camp. “I’m looking forward to creating fun memories at camp and being able to share these with my daughter.” For Meghan, this summer isn’t just about leading a program; it’s about building something special for all campers and their families.
Meghan brings a wealth of experience to Daisy Days, drawn from her time as a House Director and her involvement in the Summer in Farmington program. Both roles taught her the profound importance of connection and individuality in fostering a thriving community.
“As a House Director, I’ve learned the value of getting to know and accepting each student as an individual,” she explains. Meghan believes that nurturing relationships are the foundation for growth and learning. This philosophy will carry over into Daisy Days, where creating a warm, accepting atmosphere will be a priority.
By focusing on meaningful relationships—among campers, with staff, and within the larger camp community—Meghan aims to provide a safe space where every camper feels valued. “I want our campers to feel like they can truly be themselves and share their unique qualities with others. That’s where the magic happens,” she emphasizes.

When it comes to camp traditions, Meghan’s enthusiasm is palpable. One of the highlights she’s looking forward to is fostering a sense of community among the campers. “I’m excited to watch our tradition of community spread to our young campers,” she says. For Meghan, camp is not just about fun activities—it’s about building confidence, making friends, and creating memories that last a lifetime.
And speaking of fun, Meghan is thrilled about the lineup of activities planned for the summer. From team-building exercises to arts and crafts, every moment is designed to inspire joy and creativity. However, there’s one theme that has Meghan particularly excited: Swiftie Summer. “As a Swiftie myself, I can’t wait to see how much fun our campers will have with this theme!”
With Meghan Anthony at the helm, Daisy Days is set to deliver a summer filled with joy, growth, and unforgettable memories. Her vision for the camp—a blend of nurturing relationships and exciting traditions—ensures that every camper will feel at home while embarking on new adventures.
