Teaching an interdisciplinary curriculum means we educators need to think of ourselves differently, as well. Our role changes from one of an expert who pours knowledge into the students to that of a co-learner, curator, and guide — someone who helps them on their journey to understand the complexity of the world and become a lifelong learner.

On Tuesday, February 14, Miss Porter’s School will celebrate Founder’s Day. The school wide event will be kicked off by Head of School, Dr. Katherine G. Windsor who will introduce the guest speaker for the day, Sally Dodge ’64.
The Porter’s community is excited to welcome home ancient Ellie Large ’81 to campus on February 1st, to speak about her journey as a student-athlete. February 1st is also the celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD).
