Research has shown that play is one of the best ways for children to learn—and at Daisy Days, we take this to heart. Our campers will have a blast while exploring a variety of fun, hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity.
Each day is filled with exciting themes and interactive projects encouraging play-based learning. For example, campers will discover the fascinating world of honey bees by building their own bee hotels and experimenting with beeswax candle-making. These activities inspire creativity and teach valuable lessons about the environment and sustainability.

At Daisy Days, we believe in the power of creativity. Campers will have the chance to engage in arts and crafts daily, exploring various artistic activities that inspire self-expression and imagination.
From friendship bracelet making to watercolor painting, collaging, and clothing design, our campers will dive into fun projects that allow them to explore different mediums and techniques. Whether sketching, drawing, or experimenting with colors, each activity is designed to spark creativity while fostering a sense of accomplishment.
These hands-on experiences are fun and help campers build confidence in their artistic abilities while making lasting memories through their creations.
Guest opportunities and unique offerings
We’re excited to offer our campers the opportunity to learn from various guest experts and engage in hands-on activities while enjoying the state-of-the-art and beautiful facilities at our historic Farmington, CT, high school campus.
This summer, we’ll welcome a talented musician who will work with campers to explore the creative process of writing a song. Campers can collaborate, compose, and even perform their original tunes, fostering teamwork and self-expression through music. In addition, a local beekeeper will visit to teach campers about the vital role honey bees play in our ecosystem. Through interactive discussions and teamwork activities, campers will gain a deeper understanding of environmental conservation while working together on projects inspired by the session theme.
These special guests will help bring our themes to life and create unforgettable, educational experiences that campers will carry long after the summer ends.
